‘PAMUNYE’ design competition
Calling all young creatives! Are you passionate about creativity, health and empowerment? Do you want to leave your mark on a regional movement for young people’s health and rights?
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mozambique and its partners are looking for a new logo for Pamunye, one of Southern Africa’s largest health and economic empowerment programmes for young people. The new logo will reflect the collaborative spirit and inclusivity of Pamunye and reflects key themes related to SRHR and HIV prevention.
This design competition is open to young people aged 18-30 and aims to recognise and celebrate the creativity of young people in the region. The winning entry will receive a €500 EURO cash prize, plus two runners-up will also win cash prizes of €250 EURO and €100 EURO.
About Pamunye
The Pamunye programme – meaning “Together We Are One,” combining Swahili Pamoja and Zulu Simunye – supports youth-led SRHR and HIV initiatives across 10 Southern African countries: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The Regional Programme on SRHR and HIV in Southern Africa programme, backed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mozambique and implemented by six partners, Aidsfonds, Frontline AIDS, IOM, UNFPA, UNDP, and Young Africa, promotes comprehensive sexuality education and access to health services and empowerment, all while challenging social and cultural barriers to health and rights for young people.
