COVID-19 is having a devastating effect on communities of marginalised people most affected by the HIV throughout the world. The impact is felt particularly acutely on HIV-related human rights, where COVID-19 mitigation measures are exacerbating existing challenges, while at the same time introducing new ones. This advocacy brief analyses these impacts, as experienced by Frontline AIDS and partners in the Partnership to Inspire, Transform and Connect the HIV response, and provides recommendations to governments, donors, human rights bodies and civil society.
