The 2023 HIV Prevention & Accountability reports provide an overview of progress on HIV prevention within 10 countries in the UNAIDS Global Prevention Coalition: Angola, Eswatini, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe.
The reports were developed in collaboration with 126 partners from across the 10 countries. As part of the United for Prevention programme, civil society is encouraging national-level accountability on HIV prevention.
Accountability for HIV prevention is also a key concern globally. The reports provide a holistic picture of what HIV prevention looks like in each country from the perspective of civil society and communities, who play an essential role in tracking progress on HIV prevention, providing quality services, and increasing the sustainability of the HIV response.
