Our values and policies
Our values – insightful, challenging, fast, courageous, collaborative sit at the heart of everything we do to benefit our movement, our people and wider society. Our values shape how we behave as part of a global movement.
Frontline AIDS is committed to equality in all we do. Externally it is at the heart of our work to break through social, political and legal barriers that stand in the way of a future free from AIDS.
Internally we seek to promote diversity in all our activities, whilst developing a culture that reflects this belief. Having a diverse workforce reflects our globally diverse movement, and ensures our work is enhanced by a range of ideas on the issues and challenges we work on.
Since the inception of Frontline AIDS 25 years ago (when we were called the International HIV/AIDS Alliance), the organisation has been committed to promoting access to employment opportunities for the most marginalised people affected by the global HIV epidemic, including people living with HIV.

Disability Confident Employer
Frontline AIDS is a Disability Confident Employer, which is a UK Government scheme designed to encourage employers to recruit and retained disabled people and those with health conditions. Although a UK scheme, this approach will be applied within our South Africa office as well.
Under this scheme, Frontline AIDS will ensure all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum requirements of the job as set out in the job description and employee specification will be guaranteed an interview. Frontline AIDS welcomes applications from appropriately qualified people from all sections of the community and qualified people living with HIV are particularly encouraged to apply.
